INTERNETوACCESS_NETWORK_STATE(لتحميل قوائم الكلمات وطلب الإعلانات). وتضيف مكتبة إعلانات Google تلقائيًا أذونات عادية أخرى لا تظهر للمستخدم في أي نافذة طلب إذن:com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID(قراءة المعرّف الإعلاني)، وACCESS_ADSERVICES_AD_IDوACCESS_ADSERVICES_ATTRIBUTIONوACCESS_ADSERVICES_TOPICS(خدمات الإعلانات المدمجة في Android 13 وما بعده)، وWAKE_LOCKوFOREGROUND_SERVICE(تستعملها المكتبة لتحميل الإعلانات).
(Firebase)
HTTPS/TLS.
(Google AdMob)
طريقة استعمال Google للبيانات في الإعلانات موضّحة في policies.google.com/technologies/ads، وسياسة خصوصية Google في policies.google.com/privacy.

Privacy Policy (English)
In short: this is a party game played on one phone passed around a group. It requires no account, has no in-app purchases, and the developer collects no personal data about you. The app is free and is funded by a single full-screen ad shown now and then between rounds through Google AdMob, the only party that may collect technical data (such as the advertising ID and the IP address) to serve ads, as described in section 4. Anything you type in the game stays on your phone.
1. Data the developer collects
None. The app transmits no information about you or your device to the developer. The only data that leaves the phone is what Google's advertising library collects to serve ads (section 4) and what the word-pack download needs (section 3). Specifically:
- No account, no sign-in, no password.
- We never ask for your real name, e-mail address or phone number.
- No analytics, measurement or crash-reporting SDK of the developer's own (no Google Analytics, no Firebase Analytics, no Crashlytics).
- No sensitive permission is requested: no location, contacts, camera, microphone, photos,
files or messages. The two permissions the app itself declares are
INTERNETandACCESS_NETWORK_STATE(word-pack download and ad requests). Google's ads library automatically adds further normal permissions that never trigger a permission prompt:com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID(reading the advertising ID),ACCESS_ADSERVICES_AD_ID,ACCESS_ADSERVICES_ATTRIBUTIONandACCESS_ADSERVICES_TOPICS(the ad services built into Android 13 and later), andWAKE_LOCKandFOREGROUND_SERVICE(used by the library to load ads).
2. What is stored on your device
So the game can work, the app saves a few things in its own private app storage on the phone
(Android SharedPreferences). This information never leaves the
device and the developer cannot access it:
- The player names you type in (e.g. "Player 1", or any nickname you choose) and the colour the app assigns to each player automatically.
- Game settings: selected categories, number of impostors, round options.
- The list of words already played, so the same words do not come up again.
- Display preferences: light/dark theme, vibration on/off, whether the welcome screen was seen.
- A cached copy of the last downloaded word packs, so the game works offline.
- Your choice in the ads consent message, if one was shown to you (section 4), which Google's library stores inside the app on the phone.
Round results and scores live in memory only and are gone when the app closes.
3. Word-pack downloads (Firebase)
The full game is bundled inside the app and plays with no internet connection. When the device is online, the app reads an updated word list from Google Cloud Firestore (Firebase), a Google service the developer uses to publish new categories and words without shipping an app update.
- The request is read-only: the app fetches public word lists and sends nothing — no player names, no settings, no game results, no identifier of any kind.
- The connection is encrypted with HTTPS/TLS.
- As with any internet request, the server must know the connection's IP address in order to send a reply. Google's servers may therefore log the IP address and ordinary technical request metadata (timestamp, request type) to operate and protect the service. Those logs belong to Google as the hosting provider; the developer never sees or uses them, and they are not linked to your name or to anything you typed in the game. See Google's privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.
- If you play offline (or in airplane mode) no network request happens at all — neither for word packs nor for ads — and the game still works completely.
4. Advertising (Google AdMob)
The app is free and ad-supported. Ads are served by Google AdMob, a Google service, which is the app's only advertising partner; there is no other ad network and no ad mediation.
Where and when an ad appears
- One full-screen ad, between rounds only: it may appear when the group taps "New round" on the result screen, i.e. after the round has ended and its result has been shown. It can be closed after a few seconds.
- Never in the first two rounds of a session, never more than once every three rounds, and never less than three minutes after the previous ad.
- Never on the secret-card screen, during the discussion, or during the vote.
- No banner ads, no rewarded ads, no app-open ads.
- Offline, no ad is requested and the game plays exactly the same.
Data the ads library may collect
When the app requests an ad, the Google Mobile Ads library built into the app sends technical data directly to Google's servers, encrypted with TLS. According to Google's own documentation this may include:
- the advertising ID (Android Advertising ID) and similar device identifiers such as the App Set ID;
- the connection's IP address, from which an approximate location may be derived (city or region, never a precise location — the app has no location permission);
- device, app and network information: phone model, Android version, language, screen size, app name and version, connection type;
- your interactions with ads (an ad was shown, an ad was tapped) and diagnostic information about how the library performs.
The developer never sees or stores this data; he only receives aggregate reports (number of ads shown, revenue). Nothing you typed in the game is sent to Google: no player names, no settings, no results.
Personalised or non-personalised ads
Ads may be personalised (based on interests inferred from the advertising ID) or non-personalised (based only on the app's content and the approximate location), depending on your country, your phone's ad settings and your choice in the consent message if one was shown. How Google uses data in advertising is explained at policies.google.com/technologies/ads, and Google's privacy policy is at policies.google.com/privacy.
Consent
Where the law requires it (for example in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland), the app shows Google's official consent message at launch, before any ad is shown; you can accept, refuse, or manage the options. If you refuse, Google serves limited ads that do not use your personal data for personalisation. Your choice is stored inside the app on your phone. To change it later, clear the app's data (Settings → Apps → شكون المحتال؟ → Storage → Clear data) and the message appears again at the next launch. Outside those regions no consent message is shown and ads follow your phone's ad settings.
Controlling the advertising ID
- On Android: Settings → Privacy → Ads → Reset advertising ID or Delete advertising ID. After deletion this app, like every app, receives a string of zeros instead of the identifier, so ads can no longer be personalised with it.
- On older Android versions: Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization.
- You can also manage personalised ads tied to your Google Account at myadcenter.google.com.
Children
The app is intended for teenagers and adults aged 13 and over and is not designed for children. The app does not tag its ad requests as child-directed, and we do not knowingly collect any data from a child under 13. If you are a parent and believe a child has used the app on their phone, delete the advertising ID and clear the app's data as described above, and you may contact us at the address in section 9.
5. Sharing and selling
The developer does not share, sell or rent any data, for the simple reason that he holds none. The technical data described in section 4 is sent by Google's library directly to Google to serve and measure ads and to prevent fraud, and Google processes it under its own policy. The app contains no data broker and no ad network other than Google AdMob.
6. Children's privacy
The game is aimed at teenagers and adults aged 13 and over (or the applicable age in your country); it is not directed at children and is not marketed to them. It has no in-app purchases, no chat or online interaction with other people, and no links to social networks. The developer collects no personal information from anyone, children included; for advertising, see the "Children" paragraph in section 4.
7. Deleting your data
The developer keeps no data on any server, so there is nothing of ours to delete. What concerns you can be removed at any time:
- What the app stores on your phone: uninstall the app — everything goes with it — or go to Settings → Apps → شكون المحتال؟ → Storage → Clear data (this also clears your consent choice).
- The advertising ID: delete or reset it in Android settings as described in section 4.
- Advertising data held by Google: governed by Google's privacy policy; you can manage it from My Ad Center and your Google Account.
8. Changes to this policy
If the app changes, this page is updated and the "Last updated" date at the top changes with it.
